Our approach is to take the freshest, in-season produce that we can find and prepare if for you in essentially quite simple ways that bring out the best flavours of all the ingredients. In sourcing our food suppliers our aim is to find the best quality, ideally from a local or regional supplier, whilst being considerate about the food-miles travelled too. Here are some of our favourites.

Penny's Butchers
Lancashire farmers for five generations, Penny’s put their own slant on the notion of ‘poacher turned gamekeeper’ by moving into high class butchery almost 40 years ago. Meticulous preparation and selection of only the finest meats from local, hand reared stock are the trademark of this multi-generational family run business.

Speckled Hen Country Bakery
Set in the heart of the rolling Cheshire countryside, tucked away in a converted barn on a traditional dairy farm, is the Speckled Hen Country Bakery. Named after a much loved collection of rare breed hens, (many of whom are indeed speckled!), the bakery has developed and grown in response to a demand for quality baked goods, that have the real taste of home cooking.
 
Delamere Dairy
A small family run dairy in Nantwich, Cheshire, run for over 20 years by Roger & Liz Sutton after starting out with just 3 goats! Today Delamere Dairy boasts a large cabinet of local and national awards for their cheese, milk & yogurt products.

Oliver Kay
Based in the heart of Lancashire, with over 35 years of supplying the finest, freshest fruit & vegetables and a fine range of quality delicatessen products. 

Cryer & Stott
A small family cheesemongers based in West Yorkshire which has been named in the top 15 cheese merchants by The Independent newspaper and Business of the Year by the Regional Food Group for Yorkshire & Humberside.

Founded in 1978 by Marrion & Jeff, the company has grown organically becoming one of the largest in the country. M&J Seafoods still operate a local service offering to us the very best fresh fish from around the country.
